Wight Training Head injury

by nickapru, Jan 11, 2008 01:55PM
I was in the middle of a fairly tough bench press set and suddenly felt an extremely painful throbbing and pressure sensation on the crown of my head. I could no longer lift, and CAT scans have come back negative. One week later i attemted to work out again and the pain returened. Now, whenever I strain myself physically (picking up something heavy, etc.) the throbbing comes back. Any ideas on what it could be?

Hi,
How are you feeling now?
I think it could be due to hypertension.
Stress and strain would cause hypertension. Hypertension in turn can cause throbbing sensation in brain.
I think you should be seeing a cardiologist and decide regarding further management.
Hope this helps you.
Bye.
