Strange chest pain comes and goes

Since yesterday I have been getting sharp chest pains that come and go. 3 months ago I had chest xray, stress test, blood tests, EKGs that were normal, I have SVT and PVCs. This pain comes quick and disappears in a few minutes. I have noticed that I usually burp after one and have been real gassy (sorry) since yesterday. ANy ideas what this could be? I have never had this before and it feels like I am having a heart attack but my stress test was perfect.

Indigestion, gas, etc can easily cause chest discomfort. Many people say at it's worse it can feel like a heart episode. I sometimes have upper arm and chest tightness and after burping it will feel much better. If it persists they can check for a hiatal hernia. Stomach extends into chest.

I experienced the same type of pain and symptoms in the past- it gradually got worse and they finally figured out that it was my gallbladder. The pains were passing stones. They took it out- no more gallbladder no more symptoms. Maybe try that route...

Last week, I got a really bad case of heartburn. Once again, thought I was having a heart attack. I took some Maalox and felt alot better. I have had the same problem with being gassy and I have to assume it puts pressure on the chest which can cause alot of discomfort.
