Cavernous Sinus size reduction

by hazelb, Jan 13, 2008 03:37PM
I am a meningioma patient who had surgery 2 years ago for removal of 95%. The remaining 5% surrounds my left carotid artery near the cavernous sinus. The tumor has reduced the size of my carotid (very noticable on the MRIs), thus my question.

If the remaining tumor begins to grow, what are the chances of it tightening and causing a of the carotid. Can it be helped with a stint?
