Oxycottin Withdrawl Help

by Plague2600, Jan 13, 2008 07:34PM
I have been taking 80mg to 120mg daily for degenerated disc disease and herniated discs. As of the past 3 days, i want off. I have flushed the rest of my meds down the toilet and i have all the symptoms like crazy, dont even know what to do with myself. Its nuts. I know its not alot of mg like i have read above, but its soo hard. I am looking for any information possible that can help me get through this without checking in to rehab. I have work tomorrow and it will only be day 2, but i cant tell you how bad this feeling is. Any advise, maybe even over the counter meds can help with maybe the involuntary leg moments, tearing, anxiety, insomnia, ANYTHING!?!??! Please write me, need support, i am all alone and dont know what to do, the worst part is, that i know i can buy these meds off the street and temptation is there. My email is ***@****

I am so sorry no one saw this.

Cold turkey is tough for sure. All you can do at this point is try and make yourself comfortable. You can take hot baths....chicken soup...heating pad on your legs.....try and rest, if you can. There is no easy way honey. I am sorry.

It will be probably about 5 or 6 days of this, so be prepared.

I hope you are ok.......

I really liked "GoingToMakeIt"s post on the Thomas recipe?  ALOT of good ideas that really work.

Any way possible to take off a couple days of work?

If it is any consolation, it does help ME to perhaps take a little more time and look at the posts to make sure there is some sort of help.  I try to always direct them to the Thomas Recipe....since my knowledge is extremely limited.

You can't catch them all.  Ya'll do a great job.  Look at all the ones you didn't miss.
