Other effects of drug abuse

Hi everyone. Does anyone know, apart from mental, social and physical (looking sleepy etc) side effects of drug abuse, does drug abuse also affect the growth of your body? If a child going through puberty is addicted to drugs, would his growth be affected by the effects of drug abuse?

Sure, a child of that age could easily overdose causing death,not to mention suicide and so on. I would try to get this child help ASAP.
