Myotonic muscular dystrophy

by bobbytrendy, Jul 03, 2007 12:13PM
What are the odds of having myotonic muscular dystrophy if you are the youngest of 7 children and all of your brothers and sisters are perfectly healthy? I read that this disorder is genetic so if I developed adult onset MMD wouldn't at least one sibling also suffer from it?
Also, do you experience muscle twitches with MMD?
