Hello,my son will be 3 weeks old soon and it seems that he is having some trouble with gas.I am breastfeeding him and was a litle surprise cause i thought its more likely to happen when u fead babies with formula. He is fine during the day and start crying around 6-8 pm every day for 2 hours or so.I talked to MW and she said its very common among babies for the first few months.somebody mentioned some drops before i cant remember the name...?Is there anything u can do ,maybe some homeopath.stuff?Or u just have to go through this?thanxs

Breastfeed infants can be colic too but not as often. Try burping him more often and do not lay him on his back 1/2-hour after each feeding. Try laying him on tummy-down in your arms and rock gently or tummy-down on your knees. Another is to rock your baby gently. A colic baby does sense your stress so if you are tense try to switch off with someone else and go for a walk or calm down for a while, and then come back. The good news is they do out grow it by 3 months or so.
