I guess where you can see my questions leading too and regardless of what your husband says, if your answer to any of those questions sets off an alarm bellBell's palsy or isn't what you thought it would be, then I would visit a medical professional - this doesn't have to be a doctor, perhaps a nurse or maybe a friend that you can trust - merely to get the perspective from someone who knows you [as I clearly don't!!].

If you find that your eating is beginning to take over your life or interfere with your lifestyle and you find that is not something you can change, then I would definately go and see a doctor - they're there to help should you need it.
Although I agree with alagirl - this may be a resulting implication of your health.
