Mutliple Potential Exposure

by TJAndrews80, Jan 16, 2008 06:42AM
Hi, I have a question regarding whether there is an increased risk with multiple potential low-risk exposures? The background is this: on Jan 5th my friends and I were very drunk and ordered up several call-out sex workers. I was paired off with an Indian girl who had been in the country only for one month, according to her. We had protected vaginal sex and also she performed protected fellatio on me, but the possible exposures I had are:
-- Performed oral sex on her for around 5-8 mins (unprotected), although there was no discharge from her and no visible sores
-- Performed oral anal sex on her for around 2-3 mins (unprotected), but only on the surface area
-- Fingered her vagina for 5-6 mins (unprotected), no visible cuts on my fingers, and again no discharge from her vagina
-- Some initial genital-to-genital contact, mainly my penis rubbing against the underside of her vagina, around 4-5 mins
That was one and a half weeks' ago, and last Saturday, i.e. a week later, I developed a fever, profuse sweats at night (and weirdly, not so bad during the day), blocked sinuses, headaches, chesty cough and general flu-like symptoms -- this was on my return to London, where I live (the above action took place in Boston, MA). I have a wife I dearly love and plan to have children with down the line, but now I am absolutely terrified that I might have contracted HIV. Please help to put my mind at rest. Thanks.

You were never at risk for HIV. You can get an STD from having oral sex.

I must say you risk are very low.
But can you clarify about the mainly your penis rubbing against the underside of her vagina, what do you mean the underside?
If you you mean your penis have enter her vagina, although not the whole penis maybe just the head, then in my oppinion you have an unprotective sex...
I must say you have to get tested at 3 monts mark, but still the odds are way on your favour...
In the mean time use condom when you have sex with your wife...
Good luck.

GOD Bless!

By 'rubbing against the underside of her vagina' I mean that we were both standing upright, and my erect penis was resting directly under her exposed crotch, no penetrating involved. Sorry, there doesn't seem to be a great deal of data on genital-to-genital contact without penetration. Thanks guys.
