Echocardiogram reading...

by mknmornoyz, Jul 03, 2007 09:14PM
Hi- I am new to the forum. I just had an echocardiogram done and I was wondering if there was anyone out there that could help me decipher it. - the findings were:
Left ventricular chamber size is at the upper limits of normal.
Mild global left ventricular hypokinesis and moderate anteroseptal hypokinesia with estimated ejection fraction in the area of 60%.
Mild mitral regurgitation.

Any info would help. I have no idea what this stuff means. Is it something to worry about or is no big deal?
Thanks!
