PCOS and Endometriosis

by banana0875, Jan 16, 2008 05:11PM
I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. I was also diagnosed with endometriosis 7 years ago and have had several surgeries. My endo is fairly under control with the bcp's (Micronor) that I am on but it is not controlling the PCOS. I am at a lost as to what I should do. Is there anyone that has both of these issues as well?? I am starting to get discuraged. Also when we decide to try...how realistic will it be for me to have children?

Yes, I have both and have had endo since I was 16 and was diag w/ pcos 6 years ago. I have been preg. twice made it 1st preg. til 24 weeks and second at 18 weeks. I also had a eptopic preg between those.  We are now ttc again and i'm tryin vitex and preseed, I've read great things on them both and I also purchased and have been using a clear blue easy fert. monitor and it helps alot.

I have both as well. The endo I was told about a year and a half ago, and the PCOS was just a few months ago. It is possible to have children with both! So dont get discouraged, it will happen. Stay strong, and just talk with your doctors about any concerns you have!
