Any Ideas

by billc_19, Jan 16, 2008 11:47PM
I have recently been having a burning sensation when I pee as well as a slight clear discharge.  Also,  I have been getting burning sensations that extend from my buttocks down to my knees, almost like my tendons are inflamed.  Went to the doctor they tested me for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea both negative.  Doc prescribed me with an injection of rocephin and azithromycin.  Its been a week and the symptoms do not seem to be totally subsiding. Especially the feeling in my legs.  I understand it can take time to heal.  But should I be concerned that I didnt respond to the treatment?

thats interesting.  maybe you are over worried and too focused on your pain.  with your antibiotics, for sure you would rid any chlamydia/gonnorhea if you had any to begin with. if you never had, your anti biotics would not affect you.  if it was me, i would wait it out maybe for another week and then ask your dr if you are still experiencing symptoms.

it is also possible that this could be herpes. the burning sensation while you are urinating would explain that. i have heard of a few cases of this. if you are still experiencing the burning while you pee, i would get tested for herpes. just because you dont have any open visible sores doesn't mean that the virus isn't there. this is one of the symptoms of genital herpes.
