Update

by mandasabs, Jan 17, 2008 09:28AM
So, this isn't totally a question as much as it is an update. I had my first 6 month checkup since finding out about the HPV in July. I had hoped it would have cleared up, even though it's only been six months, but it hasn't. It's still there and the cells are just slightly worse than the last time. I was upset just because I was so hopeful to be done with this.

So they want another colposcopy done in three weeks to check things out again. It sucks big time, but at least I know what to expect from the last time. Anyone else have to do this over again after your 6 month appointment? What am I doing wrong? Is my immune system so ****** that I can't beat this? I know that they will be able to remove cells if it comes to that point, but I was so hoping my immune system would be strong enough to handle this.
