therapy with electrodes?

by Silvia_Wolff, Jan 17, 2008 06:28PM
I am a 34 year old dancer. I had a stroke 6 months ago and as a result I have lost sensibilityand movement on my left side and got spastic. I am doing lots of P.T. and am desperate to get back to dancing and living independently again. I am doing lots of progress. I have accomplished walking again without any support and my arm is starting to give signs of gaining movement back, but very slowly. Any of you know of dancers who have had similar problems? Or heard about this new kind of therapy in Europe with the use of electrodes. Thankyou... any form of advice shall be helpful
