allergies and colds

my 1 year old son has allergic rhinits, he's got colds for almost a month now. He's taking ALNIX for almost a month now, is it safe? Are prolonged colds dangerous to infants/toddlers?

Hi,
I have two sons and they often have a cold for a few weeks. Sometimes I feel as if they pass it back and forth or the older one gets it from pre-school. I also hate giving them medication for extneded periods but the docs seem to be comfortable with it.

My 17 month old has had a cold her entire life now. She has allergies and I was told to try taking her out of daycare as well as to relax because this is not threatening to her in any way, just a pain. The doctors have told me that at age 2 they get a lot better so my advice would be don’t worry until they are 2. hahahha Hope that helps. I understand how you feel 100%.

Good luck
