bladder infection :(

what cauzese a bladder infection...i thought that it was just something that you get!

It's caused by a bacteria that gets into the urethra.  They can become pretty severe if left untreated.  Women are more likely to get them because all our parts are together where as a man's is separated.  Urinating after sex can help prevent them and wiping from front to back after using the bathroom is also recommended.

Just to add, pregnant women are more susceptible to UTI's due to changes in the urinary tract.  This is especially true in the first 2 trimesters.
