Swelling? Under the Glans after pump use

by moocowfat, Jan 20, 2008 12:00AM
Hello, I recently bought a penis pump, I mainly bought it for a confidence booster, I have very mild ED that I think is caused by lack of confidence and ect.  I've used it a few times but the last time I used it, I may have done something wrong, I never pump for more than 20 mins, but I think I over pumped or perhaps let the pressure out too fast.

Anyways, after removing my penis from the pump this last time, it was slightly mis-shapped. It looks like there is swelling or a doughnut or a collar under neath the head of my penis (the glans?) it was pretty out of hand initally but after everything went back down to size, I still have that swollen? collar under neath the head of my penis (though it is much small that it was). Luckily (perhaps) its doesn't hurt at all.

I do not have any STD's, I am circumsized, and I am really wierded out. Any help?

Hi,

This does not sound like an STD unless there is any discharge present or some palpable nodes in the groin area.

Would you be able to describe the "collar" more?

A consult with the neurologist will be able to assure you if indeed this is something temporary. It may be a swollen blood vessel or edema caused by the pump.

Stay calm and have your consultation done. Keep us posted regarding your physician's advice.
