help please

by donuci, Jan 20, 2008 08:24PM
i am a 45 yr old male with no history of medical problems.  About 24 hrs ago i started experiencing numbness and tingling in my hands and feet to the point where now i can only walk with great difficulty and i can barely write my name.  My blood pressure i currently 165 over 85 which is high for me.  My pulse is 86 which is also high.  My extremities seem to have hightened sensations of pain like when they are extremely cold.  The sensation is very simiar to that of an extremity that has "fallen asleep".  I have no other pain but am extremely concerned becuase the sensations are almost becoming those of paralysis.  Please help--

please go to the ER right away this could be many things most of which are life threatening. Be sure to describe your symptoms exactly, even things that you think may not be important or involved with your symptoms. Make sure they do many tests and don't take no for an answer.  Good Luck.
