Thank you for your comment. Two days after my miscarriage my level was already at 6 and I know that a neg. result is anything below 5. My HCG level dropped from 46 to 6 in 48 hrs. So would my levels be 0 by now? I know that you can't ovulate until they are. My body is already showing signs of ovulating. So if my numbers are down is there any harm in getting pregnant? Thanks

To think positive is great, I guess it's the science in me that would want a negative lab value, and then if I try and get pregnant I would watch the rise, doubling Bhcg every 48 hours, and at a value >1500, you should see a gestational sac in the uterus. No reason to think anything would be wrong with the pregnancy, your body ovulating is saying it is OK. Now, if you have had more than 2 miscarriages, one might want to initate a work up for RHA ( Recurrent Habitual Abortions/miscarriages) before getting pregnant is case there is something which will decrease the chance of miscarring again.
Hope this helps, JM
