IVF and first blood work after transfer

by HOPETOBEAMOM, Apr 19, 2007 12:00AM
I had a transfer on Monday 04/16 and had a blood work done today.  I was told to start progesterone in oil injections, which means my hormon levels are low. Does it mean that I am not pregnant? They won't tell me and it's just so depressing....

This does not mean you are not pregnant. Most programs automatically start ALL patients on progesterone after retrieval and transfer. Check with you program about their policy.

I am taking those shots after my FET on 3-28 and I am telling you my Behind is in terrible shape. I don't know if you have ever taken them but they are pretty rough! Good luck and I hope you get a BFP!!
