Pregnancy ultrasound last month it sounds as if you did ovulate, particularly if you received the
HCGHcg blood test - quantitative
Hcg in blood serum - qualitative
Hcg in urine injection (the 'trigger shot'). Also, if you had a period on your own, without needing provera or a similar medicine to bring the period on, then you had to have ovulated to get the period. As a rule of thumb with all medicines, you want to use the least
effectiveEffective strength cough syrup dose since the higher the dose, the greater the risk of side effects. 50 mg seems to have done the job. If you have
polycysticPolycystic kidney disease
Polycystic ovary disease ovary syndrome and do not ovulate regularly, your chances of getting pregnant every month of
clomid (assuming you ovulate) are probably around 20%, not that different than normally fertile women trying to conceive naturally without needing any medicines (25%-30% each month in fertile women). Hopefully you are ovulating - if so then hopefully you will be pregnant within a 2-3 cycles. Things sounded like they went well last cycle. Good luck this month!
I started taking Clomit couple of months ago. The first 2 months 50 mg and the for about 4 100 mg. I never got pregnant. Then i changet to a RE and he put me on 200 mg clomit and gave the hcg injec. I had 3 follicles but didn't got pregnant. Next cycle my doctor put on a mix of Clomit and injectable gonal F. He said that only injec. were risky for me cause i had a lot of eggs but they don't go all the way to ovulate, and the risk for hyperstimulation was big. Anyway i got pregnant the very first cycle, but miscarried at 7 weeks.
My advice is, don't try clomit especially the same dose for many times cause if it doesn't work it's not going to. And with clomit you can ovulate but very few women get pregnant. Try other options that don't take your time and money. Speak with your doctor for other options. Good luck
