IUI How to maximize my chances? Twins?

by cris418, Jul 20, 2007 12:00AM
Hi. I am 24 years old and just did an unsuccessful IVF cycle. I would like to know what can maximize my chances to get pregnant with twins......I just want to do it once and never have to get another injection again :-)

We did IVF becuase we were not sure if my husband had sperm. He did not and so we proceeded with donor sperm. They implanted 3 embryos but none of them attached.

What are the most effective drugs that I can take with IUI to maximize my chances of getting pregnant and even better with twins?

Also, do you think that I should just go straight to another cycle of IVF since with IVF i have a 40% chance and with IUI only a 20%?

Thanks so much!

Without all the facts, I would think if the only working diagnosis is male factor that ovulation induction and Donor IUI should be exhausted. The problem with this statement is What is exhausted? I think 3 to 6 tries. Now, again, I am assuming female factor is not inplay, you ovulate, good tubes, etc...
