Change in menstration

Hi Iam 26 and have severe endo found during lap on 01/04/05. I did 6 months of lupron following that lap then took a 5 month break and did 4 more months of once daily shots of lupron.  I saw an RE when my pain and cysts returned. He pushed for IVF but due to no insurance thats not an option. He then did my second lap on 05/04/07. Pain has come back already. My problem is that I started menstrating at age 9 and have always had a 28 day cycle. My cycle even stayed regular during the months of both of my laps. But last month(Aug) I was 4 days late and this month I was 7 days late. Also I usually have very heavy bleeding but during my last two periods it is just what I would think is a normal flow. Pregnancy tests confirmed I am not pregnant. I have never been late not even by one day and suddenly I have no idea of when my period will start. What the heck is going on here? Is this something to do with the endo and should I let my dr. know about this? I would just like to have some kind of idea before I go running to my dr.
                       Thank you for your time,

I would wait another 1 or 2 cycles to see what happens. Being 4 days late is not that unusual. 7 days late is a bit atypical, but if only the past two months the irregular periods may correct themselves as quickly as they started. It could be related to the endometriosis but whether it is or not probably does not matter as long as they return to normal. If they remain irregular, then the next step is to see whether or not you are ovulating, since you need to ovulate to have any chance of getting pregnant. I hope you can somehow find a way to try IVF since it sounds as if that is what will work best, but pleasant surprises have happened to women with severe endometriosis so let's keep our fingers crossed!

I am going through infertility myself and have spent hour and hours researching, I found a book that has offered me some hope...please check out this book: "Fertile Vs. Infertile: How Infections Affect Your Fertility And Your Baby's Health" by Dr. A Toth.  Your OB/GYNs and REs will think you are crazy but do read it and see if you can relate to any of it.  The big thing for me was the change in my menstruation after I started having unprotected intercourse with my husband, that is why your subject caught my eye.  Navigating this crisis has been awful for me and I want to share what I have found with anyone I think it would help.  Best of luck to you!
