hormone saliva testing

I've been working with a fertility Dr up until now and am at the stage of looking into other options before heading into IVF treatments. I recently saw a naturopath Dr. who rec I do a hormone saliva test during my next cycle to pinpoint any areas that I may have deficiencies. I am wondering if this worth it. I've had the standard blood work of the different hormones but they never tested at different times during my cycle. I'm wondering is this really medically significant. I initially was taking clomid to ovulate and now have stopped and am having regular cycles on my own but no pregnancies. Thanks for your opinions

In my opinion, hormone testing daily with saliva will not be helpful. If your periods are regular, then you are ovulating. Additional hormone testing will not be helpful. If you are ovulating regularly, hopefully things might work out on there own. If not, your best chances if clomid has not worked out are to comtemplate either injection fertility medications with insemination, or IVF. I think IVF is most likely to succeed. Good luck.

hi, im momo i just read your message about you was taking clomid to help you ovulate. Well you should have not stop taking it cause it does work. Well it did for me and now i have my son. Also when you taking clomid med. you have to work with it not just take it and not do nothing  it want work like that. Theirs step you have to do for it can work right. But i take 3 a day for 5 days own the 3rd day of my cycles. I hope this hint will help
