CONCEPTION AND INFECTION (UTI)

Hello, I was ovulating on last saturday and ttc on the night before and the day of "O". Then Sunday night I was in the ER with a severe UTI. They gave me a shot of Toradol and told me that it would not interfere with implantation or pregnancy. But then the ER DR. told me that the infection would cause me to not get pregnant or would cause the egg to not implant because the body turns away pregnancy during infection. Since it was a bladder infection and it was so isolated, what are the chances this would cause me to not get pregnant? He tested my blood for HCG, but he should have known that 2 days after ttc would be way too early for HCG to show up, is he wrong about everything else?

I don't think a UTI will affect the chances of conceiving. Timing of your intercourse was excellent. Let's keep our fingers crossed....
