Uterine Abnormality

I recently had a lap and dye and have been told I have a ''diverticulum of the posterior wall of the uterus''.

I can’t find anything on the internet about this apart from that it's very rare and nobody knows the implications for fertility.

My consultant wouldn’t tell me more after the lap and dye as he said I needed to have a HSG, which I'm waiting for, but he wished me 'Good Luck', so it doesn't sound good.

Will I be able to have children either naturally or assisted?

This does not sound like an abnormality that should prevent you from having children. It may prove to be trivial, but impossible to tell until the HSG. The most important info from the dye test is that your fallopian tubes (I am assuming) are open? I have not heard of a diverticulum either.
