Dizziness, and weak hands

I felt like my equilibrium was off yesterday for a second or two standing at a magazine rack when I went to the neurologist.  This morning I felt dizzy, foggy, and a little unsteady for about an hour.  My hands felt very weak like I cannot grip very well and was dropping things.  I added another 100 mg of lamictal last night and later this morning.  I have staring spells and am prone to seizures at times but I have never felt so foggy and sort of dizzy and out of it.  I have schizophrenia and my family doctor thinks it is anxiety.  I recently had blood work taken but I am not sure if they regularly test for tia or an impending stroke.  The sensations went away after an hour or so.  Is this a precursor of something to come or could it be a seizure or anxiety?  I have felt similar to this about a couple months ago...

Hello.

Birth control pills are known to increase the chances of a TIA. And Seroquel is known to lower seizure threshold. One of these could be playing a part in your symptoms.

Have these issues been discussed with your neurologist ?

I had a seizure about a few months ago.  I have been taking Seroquel for about a year and Abilfy for about 4 years and birth control.

I felt stiffness in my muscles the last time I had a seizure with alternating feelings of weakness and numbness.  This time I just felt weakness by itself.  My arms wanted to go limp this morning.  The feelings lasted about an hour then they subsided.  Does this help in your understanding?

Hello.

Are you taking any other medicines apart from Lamictal ? Since you mentioned that you are prone to have seizures, can you mention when was your last seizure ?

Do you feel stiffness in the muscles ?

In my opinion, it will be best to get an EEG done and consult a neurologist.
