Ocular Myasthenia Gravis

by Stephan001, Jan 23, 2008 03:50PM
I have had Ocular Myasthenia Gravis for 7 years.  It affects the leftward movement of my right eye.  Pyridstigmine (60mcg) has helped my eye symtems.  I also have had asthma for 11 years.  I am a male, 53, otherwise in very good health.  Through the past several years I have episodes of a "heavy feeling" or a feeling of "pressure" on my chest and sometimes intermittent feelings of tightness in my lower throat.  I had assumed all this time that this was related to the asthma  although these feelings didn't necessarily effect my breathing.  Or may be the sensations are even indigestion.  Now as I read more about myasthenia gravis I wonder if it these symptoms could be related to it or to my thymus gland?  Thank you.
