blood thinners during pregnacy

by grady02, Jan 25, 2008 12:50AM
my question is i have a 4 year old son, during his delivery my wife got a  blood clot and was placed on warfarin.
my wife is now 4 weeks preg, so at what risk is the baby because of the drug, up to this point.

she has been put on a drug that she has to give herself a shot in the stomach.

what at the risk of side effects.
thanks

I don't think there are risks. My Re is gonna put me to on blood thinners when i get pregnant. I don't know any side effect cause i don't use it yet. But look on the net and you're gonna find more info.
