Shingles Vaccination

My mother-in-law has already had shingles. Does she need to get the shingles vaccine? Will it prevent a possible second outbreak if she does? She currently suffers from some PHN and we are concerned about another outbreak...

Hi, I attended a Shingles Vaccine Seminar this past week. It was given by Dr Jose Jiminez of the Sacred Heart of the Emerald Coast Hospital and Office Building. He said, "Yes. That the vaccine would lessen the next attack.
