Tilted Vision

My son, 5,  has told me that on several occasions he has been watching a show or looking at something and it tilts to the side.  He says it's like he turned his head but didn't.   These episodes, about 6, have happened in the last week.  (and during and post high fever and lack of eating with strep).  I plan to take him to the Doctor tomorrow, but thought I would get a jump on it.
Thanks,
Emily

I sympathize with your concerns.  I have a 5 year old and  you never know what they will say and sometimes they have trouble expressing themselves.  In this situation, I would be far more concerned about the strep and high fevers than anything else.  However,  I still think it is important to make sure the eye are looking straight ahead (no turned in or turned out eyes) and that eyes move normally together and that vision is good in each eye and equally strong in each eye.  Hopefully pediatrician can check out these basic things tomorrow - but if there are any questions, you can see a pediatric ophthalmologist.  Hopefully this tilted vision thing turns out to be nothing to worry about.
