Negative HPT but 6 days Late

by theshoegal, Jan 29, 2008 10:17AM
My husband and I have been TTC#1. I finally broke down and bought the Clearblue easy fertility monitor. This was our first month using it. It told me when I was high fertility (which we ttc on those days) but the monitor never reached peak fertility! Now I am six days late no period. I took a HPT on the day I was due to start (First Response - Early Response) and it was negative. I have a OBGYN appointment on Friday and do not plan to test agian, I will let them test. My mother said with her first pregnancy, she had negative HPT and Blood tests for 3 weeks into her pregancy until it showed up. I am very confused, I hope I am. Has anyone ever had this before....no period, negative HPT but still pregnant? I don't feel any symptoms but I don't understand why I haven't had a period!! Comments please!
