Hairy like things on my tougne *Picture Included*

It seems as if their are tiny hairlike hairs on my tounge, like I have cotton tounge or something. My mouth is not dry at all, and I was my teeth and brush my tougne twice a day.

I have tried mouthwashes, but it doesn't seem to do anything at all. I am not sexually active, and don't smoke anything.

I can not down load your picture, therefore it would be not possible to give an opinion on the condition of your tongue. If it is a hairy tongue then irritating mouthwashes may be a contributing factor. Using a tongue brush or scraper is an appropriate treatment.If this does not solve the problem the see an oral surgeon for a consultation.

I read somewhere while researching my own dental problem that hairy tongue can be caused by using too much mouthwash with alcohol in it.  I don't know how accurate that is, but I prefer Scope anyway because it doesn't sting and still does the job.  You might want to give it a try ;-)
