When you say it can take a while to heal how long do you mean? It's been about 4-5 months from the time I had the initial injection in my jawbone.
Some extra info.....I went to my oral surgeon today and I was told that the indentation looks like it might have some scar tissue in it and this could be causing my pain. She thinks that the scar tissue is from the injection into my jawbone.
