bone chips after extraction--------

by grama floyd, May 13, 2007 12:00AM
it's been 3 weeks after extractions and now I noticed a sharp bony spot in the edge of a extraction, my question is will this come out by its self? can not tell how big or small it is --- should i try to pull it out with tweasers?

If it is a spicule it will probably work its way out. If the sharpness is from the architecture of the bone due to the extraction then it may have to be trimmed. Keep the tweasers out of your mouth. Let the professionals take care of it.
