Hypoplastic teeth

My daughter (6 years old) was recently diagnosed as having several hypoplastic teeth. These are all adult teeth, including a 6-year molar that is not fully erupted. The most noticeable tooth is the upper front right tooth, which has a large white spot. She is currently being treated for this. My youngest daughter (11 months) has these same spots on her two front teeth. Could she also have hypoplastic teeth? If so, could this be an inheritable condition? My youngest daughter also has other medical dx, including Septo-Optic Dysplasia, ventriculomegaly and hydrocephalus. Could this be caused by any of those dx?

You can not tell about your eleven month old because these are deciduous teeth which have no effect on her permanent teeth.It is possible that it is hereditary but I can not give you an opinion on whether or not her other medical problems are contributing to the hypoplasia.

there are certain embryonic development bnormalties that manifest themselve in how teeth are formed. To get an accurate diagnosis may require the serives of a specialist in embryonic development.
