Dental Crown Bite Adjustment

by Lalo72, Jan 30, 2008 04:30AM
Hello, I had a dental crown placed in November of 07. The tooth was sore and sensitive. I went in for a bite adjustment. Well the dentist couldn't find anything wrong. Went back to endontist he found that the filling on the side tooth had a small opening. Went back to dentist, she saw where the opening was and redid the filling. Also asked about the bite adjustment. Redid the paper thing. Then she filed a bit down. Now my jaw feels off. Like there is more tension on the other side. My question is since it has taken about 8 weeks for the bite adjustment to take place is it possible that it will take time for the muscles in my jaw to the new bite or did I jump the gun with the bite adjustment and have taken too much off? If I have taken too much off, what are my options?
