Itching in the pupic hair area

by 3xsmomma, Feb 01, 2008 12:04PM
The skin in the pubic hair area is always very itchy, when I scratch it, there seems to be pieces of dry skin coming off. Also, the discharge is awful. I bathe in the morning and by mid-afternoon, my panties are full of discharge and the smell it's not too bad, it just smells like female discharge. I keep myself very clean and I haven't had sex in 6 months. I do use " toys" though. I was reading other articles, does anyone think this could be Thrush and is there a way to treat it at home. I live in a VERY small community and I am nervous about going to the doctor over this.

Hello,

You should be seen by your ob/gyn and examined.  You may have an infection or a dermatologic condition.  Get evaluated.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing

You might check out the symptoms of Bacterial Viginitis.  Do a ph test (over the counter) or doctor to see if it relates to vaginal infections.  Your doctor is the only one that can tell you which one it is.
