Your daughter was very young when she started having seizures. This definitely has affected the brain development. Did she have a timely development, or was her development a bit late ?
The episodes at night that you describe do appear to be night terrors, as you have rightly said. The heart rate varies during night terror and you should not worry about it, unless she has any other heart complaints. But I am a bit concerned about the lip smacking part. It will be a good idea to get a video EEG done for this. Can you get it scheduled ?
It seems her hyperactivity is increased. Has she been prescribed the two medicines by the same doctor ? You can ask him to adjust the doses or consider substituting the anti-epileptic drug with any other of the anti-epileptics.
Dose she do well in studies ?
