I have conditions that seem to point to the fact that I will get this soon. I am concerned!

My sister-in-law, age 48, was diagnosed with ADEM this past November. Her symptoms were severe headache, nausea, and in the 2 weeks prior to her diagnosis periods of confusion, incoherence, and lapsing into a coma. A brain biopsy is what determined her diagnosis.
