Do I have pneumonia, and do i need to go to the doctor?

by simontheo, Feb 02, 2008 09:12PM
I think I might have a mild case of pneumonia - I've had a bad cold for a little over a week, and now I'm having tightness in my chest that gets worse when I do anything physical or breathe deeply. But it's not very severe, so I'm wondering if I have to go to the doctor, or if I can just rest and let it go away on its own.
Thanks!

You don't want to mess around with pneumonia, go to the doctor. A simple chest xray will let you know if there is anything you should be worried about.

I know that my cold is killing me right now, and my chest hurts from all of the coughing, but you want to be sure.
