help my cat plzz

i jus notcied that my cat had a cut on its tail. and it has no hair on the cut. i checked it but it seems that it had stoped bleeding. also wat i thought was that a pososeum could have bit it becuz there are alot of posseum problems in san jose. any advice plezzz. i asked my younger brother if he had noticed that bite he said he had noticed it bout 3 days from today. plzz help me thannx

You should take him to the vet to have the cut cleaned and to get antibiotics for your cat.  Wounds of unknown origin also require a Rabies vaccine booster even if a Rabies vaccine has been given recently.  Bite wounds are notoriously filthy and can cause septicemia if not properly.  Septicemia is a blood infection.  Thanks
