Theraflu

by Anna896, Feb 04, 2008 02:23PM
I just found out that I am 5 weeks pregnant. One week ago I had a terrible flu and I took Theraflu for 3 days straight (about 13 packs). My question is is it going to affect my baby? What should I do? Is it possible to check my baby for any defects?

Hello,

It is very unlikely you have done anything to harm your pregnancy.  Routine antenatal screening is all that is necessary.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
