intercourse is very painful - feels like burning/stabbing sensation during penetration.  thought to be latex allergic but using condoms without latex didn't help.  nothing helps.

Hello,

I suggest you see your ob/gyn to have an exam and talk with your physician about the evolution of your symptoms.

Best regards,

Me too! Turns out I have interstitial cystitis which is chronic inflammation of the bladder. For years my doctors told me it was psychological but finally I found a doctor who recogonized my agony. I never had blood in my urine but had frequent urges. When the IC got under control I realized that urinating was uncomfortable but since I have been dealing with this since I was a young child I never knew that it was uncomfortable. Good luck, my life has changed for the better once I knew that it was not all in my head.

I have the same problem. I am wondering if it may be a PID? Pelvic Inflamitory disease. It only hurts at the first penetration, and then there is no pain. But I went from being a very sexual person, to almost dreading sex. Uggg please help!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the same problem but not at the begining of sex, all through it. It seems to hurt and burn worse after my husband cums. Why is this. I'm so tired of being poked and prodded by these doctors that can't figure out whats wrong with me. I'm at my wits end with all of this. 6 months ago I had a partial histerectomy and thats when the problems really started for me. 3 weeks after...large cysts, the doc tore my vaginal cuff and gave me a bad bacterial infection. Every since then, I've been in severe pain, burning, tired but no more bleeding. Just been in more pain then before I had the histerectomy.
Help me please??!!
Thanks,
Jen

I have that problem too and I also got spotted bleeding. Turns out that I was infected by candida sp. But weeks after I took the medicines, I got more pain than before and I notice that got dried in the middle of intercourse. Even though I got wet from the foreplay the penetration still hurts me. Can anybody help me? thx. -Fie-
