hcg testing accuracy and interferences

The last day of my period was a couple days before Thanksgiving. I have always experienced regular cycles that lasted no longer than 4 days (usually three). As of today, Feb. 5 I have not had another. Approx. one month ago I started taking HPT of various types and from different companies. They have all come back negative and a few days ago, I had a physician administer both urine and blood tests for HCG. Both negative. My mother experienced a similar situation in which my brother was undetected until she had carried him three months. I am experiencing some early preg. symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, fatigue, cramping, most recently-breast tenderness. What to do? Another factor is past use of narcotics and their effect on HCG levels. Since there is a chance I am carrying a child my boyfriend and I have been through recovery and have been opiate free for one month. How accurate are blood tests and what are effects of heroin on hcg levels?
