abdominal fistula

i had surgery on jan 15,2008 for hernia removal and ulceration fix that was caused by pryor surgeries. i'ts now been about 3 nweeks later and just noticed fistula on my abdomen.a lot of drainage coming out more than before. im going to need another surgery ? and is it possible of this returning to haunt me for the third time?

Your doc is going to be the only one who'll be able to tell you what the next step is going to have to be. Call.
My mother did not make her doc see her and settled for an appt for the next week. She didnt make it that long, she ended up in the ER and immediate surgery, and before she was to come home the fisticula was back and had another surgery. She waited too long and there was so much damage that if it should happen again she is in trouble. Her colostomy is as far up as it can go.......she spent over a month in the hospital......so I stress do not wait!!
