Glioma in Insula Region

At age 53, my husband has now been diagnosed with a grade 2 and 3 glioma. It is 2" wide and 4" deep and is located in the dominant left temporal lobe and insula region. We have seen 2 neuro-surgeons. One says de-bulk all but the part in the insula region. The other says do a radical re-section and get as much out of the insula region as possible since that is the grade 3 portion (this same surgeon says the only person in the country who can do this is Berger in San Francisco). A lot on info on the internet indicates that surgery does not prolong life expectancy and that surgery can often trigger an otherwise slow growing glioma into a fast growing tumor. What are your thoughts?
