help!

Hi there,

two weeks ago I had unprotected sex with a girl I was seeing. I was the first person to have unprotected sex with her and that was my first time in general, anyways, after it somehow there was a cut on my frenulum.
I kinda panicked but rushed home and tried to stop the bleeding with some
hydrogen peroxide and alcohol (stung like a *****) and I applied some polysporin to the cut anyways it finally subsided and I thought that was that. I kept an eye on it for the next couple days and it seemed OK so I masturbated and it seemed fine but I applied some more polysporin just to make sure it would heal. A couple days later I masturbated, and then the next day I noticed a couple little red spots on my glans, smegma but it looks different, a lil flaky, and that it seemed a little harder to retract my foreskin (as in dryness or something). The urethra has been slightly sensitive and I don't know if its my own paranoia or not but perhaps a little red and irritated as well.

I don't want to rush to my doctor's and whip out and ask him what's up and I'm quite nervous that this is something serious. I'm thinking it's just irritation and I need to stop masturbating for a bit

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Hi,

Observe if it responds with your antifungal cream . Balanitis due to a dermatitis, a candidal or bacterial infection or even due to machanical injury or trauma may be considered. In your case an infection may be more likely. See if the lesions improve. If there seems to be no response, a consult with a dermatologist or urologist will help.It is best to inform your primary physician about this so you may be guided with regards to your use of medications.

Well the cut has healed.  There hasn't been any blood or soreness since the day of the cut. It doesn't sound like an STD to you at all, does it?  Ive been looking around on the net and to me it sounds like Candida, however, the girl I slept with said she hasnt had one.  Any other ideas?

Thank you!!

Hi,

Do refrain from sexual activity and avoid applying any medications over the area until a complete assessment by a physician has been done. Contact dermatitis, allergic reactions and an infection may be considered. It is possible that the cut has been infected and surrounding skin must have been irritated due to the manipulations. A consult with a physician will be able to guide you on proper manegement.

Wear dry and clean underpants that are not too tight.Wash the area with a mild bland soap.

Keep us posted for anything.
