lichen planius + Aclovate cream?

I am a 20 year old male who is currently sexualy active. I began recently using a condom since my girlfriend stopped using birth control. In november i began to notice red painless, non itchy bumps below the head of my penis. I had blood work done twice. first was negative for herpes 1 and 2 the second test was positive for type 1 and negative for 2. at those time a PCR swab was taken and both times came back negative for heprese virus. I recently saw a dermotoligist who diagnosed me with lichen planus. I was givin aclovate cream and was told to apply twice a day for 2 weeks. Ive noticed that after masturbating 2 days befor i saw the dermotoligst a rash began to form. It was much more noticable the day after i saw the dr. Ive been applying the cream but the problem does not seem to go away. Could this not be lichen planus. Any input on what else this could be or any other meds. could use would be grea
