headache fever and weakness

Not sure if it is just the flu or a cold. My 3 year old had a severe headache yesterday followed by a temp of 101.6 thru the night. Is it just a cold or the flu. This is his first headache. Today he is very weak.

My 2 yr old went to ER sunday, high high fever couldnt bring it down
doctors said the virus is running rampid, last 5-7 days of fever, cough , running nose, fatigue headache, etc.
i am giving tylenol every 4 hours and Motrin every 6 (going back and forth between the 2)
